Overview
CardAdix
is a windows based computer system designed for:individual golfers, small groups, societies and small clubs.
CardAdix
provides the following features in an intuitive and easyto use design:
* creation and maintenance of a database of players/members
* creation and maintenance of a database of courses played
* creation and maintenance of competitions/social games
* Input of cards
* Calculation of Handicap (Official and/or Social)
* Scrolling display of Leaderboard
* Display of Highlights of a competition (e.gs hole in one, eagles)
* Statistics and Information about rounds played on a course
* Statistics and Information about rounds played by a player
* Roll of Honour (List of 1st, 2nd and 3rd in competitions)

To install CardAdix:
FROM CD
(if
you received a CD from us)
1. Close/Exit all running
applications.
2. Insert the CardAdix CD into the CD-ROM drive. If the contents of the CD
are not automatically displayed use My Computer or Windows Explorer
to navigate to your CD-ROM drive.
3. You will see a file on the CD called walfgolf.exe. Double-click on it.
4. You may receive a warning from windows about an Unknown program,
Click Allow.
5. The WINZIP self-extractor program will display. Click Setup.
6. Welcome to CardAdix installation is displayed. Click OK.
7. An option to change where CardAdix is to be installed is provided by the
Change Directory button. Click on the Computer icon.
FROM
DOWNLOAD
1. Click Download CardAdix. The
Windows download dialog window will display.
2. Click 'Save'
if you wish to install CardAdix later (Remember the folder into
which you Save. The file is called walfgolf.exe) or click 'Run' to install
now.
3. If you saved it, locate the folder and doubleclick
walfgolf.exe to start installation.
4. A Windows' security
warning will be received about the publisher. Click 'Run'
5. The WINZIP self-extractor program will display. Click Setup.
6. Welcome to CardAdix installation is displayed. Click OK.
7. An option to change where CardAdix is to be installed is provided by the
Change Directory button. Click on the Computer
icon.
Installation will now take place.

Using CardAdix
ONCE OFF - AT BEGINNING
1.Enter details of players/members (new players can be added at any time).
2. Enter details of a course. i.e. input hole distance, par and stroke index.
(new courses can be added at any time)
FOR EACH DIFFERENT COMPETITION
3. Input details of a competition or social game. i.e. which course, date, medal or
stableford and social or official handicap.
4. Add players to the competition.
5. Input card details of round.
6. Calculate new handicap by selecting "OK" on card input screen.
7. Save card input
8. View Leaderboard
OCCASIONALY - WHENEVER YOU WANT
8. Produce reports of player details (e.g. List of handicaps, outstanding subs etc)
9. Produce statistics and information about courses and players.
